The Centre for Combustion Science and Technology!

CECOST consists of a national Research Program, a Strategic Research Centre at Lund University and a national Graduate School. CECOST is hosted by the Faculty of Engineering LTH at Lund University in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology and the Royal Institute of Technology.  The national research program is funded by the Swedish Energy Agency 2010-2013. The Strategic Research Centre at Lund University is funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) 2006-2012.

CECOST was founded in 1996 at the Faculty of Engineering LTH, Lund University in close collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology and the Royal Institute of Technology. The centre was funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research.

During the years 2002-2005 the Research Program was funded by the Swedish Energy Agency and the Graduate School by the Foundation for Strategic Research. Växjö University participated in the CECOST activities between 2002 and 2006.

Graduate course: Combustion Science Spring 2012
The CECOST Graduate School announces the course Combustion Science to be given in the beginning of 2012, course brochure (pdf):

The course starts with a compulsory two day seminar on January 18-19 in Gothenburg. The second two day seminar will take place in Lund on February 28-29.
Main lecturers:
Prof. Per-Erik Bengtsson, Combustion Physics, Lund University and
Docent Sven Andersson, Applied Mechanics, Chalmers University of Technology.

Official announcement of the CECOST Networking Programme
